Twenty-five distinctions. Use five of them well and your business changes.
Most coach training gives you a process — a sequence of questions to run, a model to fill in. It works until you meet a client who does not fit the model.
Distinctions are different. They are not a process, they are the ability to see precisely what is in a client's way and to name it so they can see it too. That is the moment coaching stops being conversation and becomes change — and it is what clients pay for, refer for, and come back for.
Your Clients Are Not Missing a Framework.
You already listen well. You already ask good questions. And you have still had the session where the client leaves satisfied and nothing changes.
What was missing was not a technique. It was the distinction — the thing that was actually in their way, unnamed.
A coach who can name it is worth several times a coach who can only hold space for it. That is the gap this training closes.
The 25 Distinctions.
Twenty-five distinctions built by Yvon Laplante out of thirty-five years running his own coaching business — not adapted from a book, not licensed from a model. These are what one coach learned actually works, in rooms with real clients, over a career.
For each one you learn the distinction itself, how it shows up in a client's business and language, the questions that surface it, and what to do once it is named. Models of action, conversation, pattern and result for the situations you will actually meet.
The 25 Are Taught in a Deliberate Order — and It Isn't the One You'd Guess.
It begins with The Commitment, because nothing else holds without it. Then Creating Context, because a coach who doesn't establish it is only having a conversation.
Strategy sits at fourteen. Most coaches reach for it far earlier — structure feels like progress — but structure applied before context is a plan nobody follows.
Getting the Facts comes near the end, at twenty-four. Not because it is advanced, but because it is the hardest thing a coach ever learns to do. Most conversations run on stories, opinions, what it feels like, what it seems like. Separating fact from all of that takes standing, and standing takes the twenty-three that come before it.
Every Distinction Is a Complete Session.
Not a concept to absorb. Each of the twenty-five arrives as a working document: the model, the conversation that explains it, the actions that apply it, and when to use it.
Plus the language — not to fill the silence, but so that when you do speak, the words are precise enough to leave it intact.
And what not to do. Every distinction names its own failure modes, because Yvon has watched coaches find all of them.

You Finish as a Certified WOW Academy Business Coach
Not a course completion. A title you can put on your website, your LinkedIn and your proposals — and the right to build your business under the WOW Academy banner rather than from nothing.
- Certification as a WOW Academy Business Coach
- Use of the WOW Academy name in your own business
- The WOW methodology — the free high-impact session, the Triangle of Evolution, the 1-Pager Action Plan
- A route to earning on enrolments and being paid to lead programs as a WOW Academy collaborator
- Membership of the Coaches Evolutionary Circle
- Free monthly distinction training with Yvon Laplante — ongoing, at no further cost
The training does not end in the room.
Every certified coach sits in the Coaches Evolutionary Circle and trains monthly with Yvon Laplante — free, for as long as you are coaching. The man who built the twenty-five distinctions keeps teaching you to use them.
Most coach certifications hand you a manual and wish you luck. This one gives you the author, every month.
Most coach training ends when the training ends. This one is the point at which the business starts.
The two ways people use this
To build a scalable coaching business
Certification, the methodology, the brand, and a defined path from your first free session to a business that runs beyond your own calendar. The steps after this one — building relationships, inviting others — are how coaches before you built theirs.
To lead better inside a company
Many participants never intend to coach professionally. They lead teams and they want the twenty-five distinctions in their management conversations — the same skill, applied to people who report to them rather than people who hire them.
A Scalable Business That Isn't Capped by Your Calendar
A Scalable Business That Isn't Capped by Your Calendar
Most coaches hit the same ceiling: income equals hours booked. Work more hours, earn more; get sick, earn nothing. It is a job you built for yourself.
The WOW model breaks that ceiling three ways.
1. Coach groups, not only individuals
The methodology is built to run in a room. Two hours with eight people is the same two hours — and every WOW program is delivered this way, so you are learning the format while you are being trained in it.
2. Get paid when your clients enrol
When someone enrols in a WOW Academy program through you — Inner Warrior, High Speed Performance, any of them — you earn a share of that registration revenue. You are not delivering those hours — WOW Academy is. Your relationship earns without your calendar filling.
3. Get paid to lead programs
Once WOW Academy approves you as a program leader, you earn a share of the revenue of every program you lead. That is income from rooms you did not have to fill yourself, in front of people already committed.
Your one-to-one coaching becomes the entry point to the business rather than the whole of it.
For Coaches and Leaders Ready to Name What They See
- You've completed High Speed Performance and Inner Warrior
- You coach already, or lead people, and you want the tools that make change stick
- You want a methodology behind you rather than an improvised one
- You intend to use this — in a business of your own or inside a company — not to collect it
FAQs
Before You Register
Do I have to complete High Speed Performance and Inner Warrior first?
Yes, both. Coach Level 1 trains you to coach others through work you must have done yourself first — there is no way around that order.
What do I get to call myself afterwards?
A Certified WOW Academy Business Coach. You can use the title and build your business under the WOW Academy name.
When does it run?
The training runs with a minimum of ten coaches. We are building the Fall 2027 group now — join the list and we will be in touch as it forms.
Where do the 25 distinctions come from?
Yvon Laplante built them out of thirty-five years running his own coaching business. They are not adapted from a book or licensed from another model — they are what he found works.
What happens after I'm certified?
You join the Coaches Evolutionary Circle and train monthly with Yvon on the distinctions — free, ongoing. Certification is where the training becomes continuous rather than where it stops.
Do I have to become a WOW Academy coach?
No. Many participants take it to lead their own teams better. The path into a WOW coaching business is available, not required.
Will WOW send me clients?
No — and a clear no is worth more than a vague promise. WOW Academy brings the brand, the methodology and the platform; the relationships are yours to build. What the collaborator path adds is real, though: you earn a share of every enrolment that comes through you, and once approved to lead programs, a share of the revenue of the programs you lead.
Can I get a receipt for tax purposes?
Yes. WOW Academy issues official receipts for tuition, and in Québec those fees may qualify for the tuition tax credit. Ask us for your receipt when you register.
I already have a coaching business. Is this too basic?
The 25 distinctions are not beginner material — they are what an experienced coach uses when the standard toolkit has run out. Level 1 refers to the WOW path, not to your experience.
